‘NDTV Arabia’ launch in October

New Delhi, Sept. 20 New Delhi Television (NDTV) is launching ‘NDTV Arabia’, a 24 hour, free-to-air channel in West Asia and Africa.

With the English infotainment channel, the company makes its entry into the Middle East and North Africa region.

The channel is to be launched ‘officially’ at the end of October, post Ramadan, said the company in a statement.

The channel will be available on Nile Sat which reaches 100 million homes in the region.

“This launch is in line with our plans to initiate international expansion beyond our current core market and reach new target audiences,” said Dr Prannoy Roy, Chairman, NDTV Ltd.
