Vijaya Bank currency chest

Hyderabad, Sept. 23

Vijaya Bank has opened its 29th currency chest at Kurnool. It will cater to the branches in Kurnool district and the neighbouring districts. Mr P. Satish Shetty, Regional Manager, while addressing the gathering said the currency chest was useful to bank branches in cash management. The currency chest will function like a pooling branch to bank branches and holding the cash on behalf of Reserve Bank of India. He added that the Kurnool branch was working under the core banking solutions and as such, it provides online banking facilities to the customers. Mr B. Malla Reddy, Superintendent of Police, Kurnool, was the chief guest at the function. - Our Bureau
