New Projects Industry & Economy - Medical Institutions & Hospitals States - Andhra Pradesh Care Hospital expands into Orissa Our Bureau Hyderabad, Sept. 23 Care Hospital has announced its plans to commission a centre in Bhubaneswar where the Care group will invest Rs 15 crore initially and step it up to Rs 50 crore in the next two years. The 100-bed multi-speciality Aditya Care Hospital located in Chandrasekharpur will be inaugurated by the Orissa Chief Minister, Mr Naveen Patnaik, on Monday. From a 100-bed facility, it has proposed to scale this up to a 300-bedded centre in two years. The Bhubaneswar centre will be equipped to handle cardiac services, including catheterisation procedures and cardiac surgeries. The Chief Operating Officer of Care Hospitals, Dr Veeraprasad, said in a statement that the launch of Aditya Care Hospital is part of Care’s vision to provide quality healthcare in every region of the country. Apart from health care, Care offers active cardiac and research programmes for graduate, post-graduate and post doctoral courses.
