Trains cancelled & rescheduled

Kolkata, Sept. 25

Train services on the Howrah-Kharagpur section of South Eastern Railway were disrupted on Monday and Tuesday due to heavy rain in Bengal followed by water-logging both at the Tikiapara and Howrah yards, says a press release. As a result, number of trains have been terminated before their destination, cancelled and rescheduled, says a press release. Among the trains cancelled are the 8409 Howrah-Puri Sri Jagannath Express and 2834 Howrah-Ahmedabad Express. Trains terminated at Santragachi are 8646 Hyderabad-Howrah East Coast Express, 2872 Sambalpur-Howrah Ispat Express and the 2822 Bhubaneswar-Howrah Dhauli Express. - Our Burea
