PPP: Workshop for States

Kochi, Sept. 26

As part of the efforts of the Union Government to encourage Public Private Partnership (PPP) and work towards an environment that is conducive to investors in PPP, the Finance Ministry and Department of Economic Affairs, jointly with the CII, is organising a workshop for States on PPPs on October 5 at Hotel Renaissance. The workshop, supported by the World Bank, will focus on Grading of Projects and Rating of Special Purpose Vehicles and the Schemes of Finance Ministry to promote PPPs in States. Officials of the Finance Ministry, and representatives from rating agencies will be present. - Our Bureau
