VSP bags PM's trophy
Visakhapatnam, Sept. 27
The Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has bagged the Prime
Minister's trophy a second time for 2005-2006,
according to a press release issued by the company. The
release says the Chairman and Managing Director, Mr
P.K. Bishnoi, received a letter from the Union Steel
Secretary, Mr R.S Pandey, to that effect on Thursday. The
award, to be presented later, carries a cash award of Rs 1
crore. The award was instituted at the Visakhapatnam
Steel Plant in 1992 by the then Prime Minister, Mr P.V
Narasimha Rao, while dedicating the plant to the nation.
