Hyderabad hosting Infocom 2007

Hyderabad, Sept. 28 ABP Private Ltd, in association with global IT trade fair organiser CeBIT, will organise a four-day information and communication conference and expo here, beginning November 28.

The Infocom 2007 will be held in Hyderabad after five years of its inception in Kolkata.

The conference would attract 350 players, including IBM, Microsoft and Sun Micro, Mr D.D. Purkayastha, Chief Executive Officer of ABP, said.

Addressing a press conference here, he said the event was expected to generate a revenue of Rs 10 crore for the company against Rs 6 crore in Kolkata last year.

The meet would have 30 sessions including ‘Service excellence through ICT and International Satellite Communication conference’.

The organisers would hold a Golf competition for about 100 CEOs from across the country.
