Quest Diagnostics gets new MD

New Delhi, Sept. 28

Diagnostic testing, information and services company Quest Diagnostics Inc has appointed Mr Janak Singh Bajwa as Managing Director of Quest Diagnostics India. Mr Bajwa started his career with Tata Administrative Services. “The ability of the healthcare system to make improvements in diagnosis and treatment are clearly linked to the availability of quality diagnostic testing and services. And the convergence of these services with medical practice through the use of ‘infotechnology’ takes us to a whole new level of healthcare delivery,” said Mr Bajwa, Managing Director, Quest Diagnostics India, in a statement announcing his appointment. The US company, with revenues of $6.3 billion in 2006, recently established its office in Gurgaon. —
