SIMA elects new Chairman

Coimbatore, Sept. 29

Dr K.V. Srinivasan, Managing Director of Sree Narasimha Textiles Pvt Ltd, has been elected Chairman of the Southern India Mills Association (SIMA) for the year 2007-08. Dr Srinivasan, also Director of the Premier Mills Ltd and a committee member of the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI), is also the Chairman of the yarn and thread committee of the Cotton Textile Export Promotion Council (Texprocil). The other new office-bearers of the association who were elec ted at the first SIMA committee meeting held as part of its 48th annual general meeting proceedings here on Friday are Mr J. Thulasidharan, Managing Director of Rajaratna Mills Pvt Ltd, Neikarapatti, Mr Palani (Deputy Chairman) and Mr S. Dinakaran, Joint Managing Director of Sambandam Spinning Mills Ltd, Salem (Vice-Chairman).
