Our Bureau New Delhi, Oct. 3 Jet Airways is to start regular flights between India and the Gulf from early next year, the airline Chief Executive Officer, Mr Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, has said. “We plan to start operations in January and February next year. The flights would be launched in a phased manner, although a decision is yet to be taken on which city the airline would launch services from. We are currently examining our aircraft delivery schedule to fine-tune the launch of the flights,” Mr Prock-Schauer told Business Line. The Government has permitted the airline to operate 70 flights a week between India and Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain. The airline has been permitted to operate a daily flight between Delhi and Kuwait, Mumbai-Doha and Mumbai-Bahrain. In addition, the airline has been allowed to operate from Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode to various points in the Gulf. More Stories on : Airlines | Jet Airways (India) Ltd
