Global fair to showcase latest cable, wire tech

G. Chandrashekhar

Mumbai, Oct. 3 An international trade fair specialising in wire, tube and related industries scheduled to be held in Bangkok (Thailand) during October 16-18 will provide an opportunity for major Asian countries including India to access latest solutions and cutting-edge technologies, event organisers Messe Dusseldorf India said.

Attractive Destination

Asian economies are currently witnessing economic boom with huge investment flowing into the construction sector including housing and infrastructure. Roadways, rail links, airports, seaports, industrial estates, special economic zones and malls are witnessing activity at frenetic pace.

Wire, cable, pipe and tube products are integral to the construction industry. No wonder, foreign investors continue to view South East Asia as an attractive destination for export-oriented production operations.

As the trade fair will showcase new products and technologies, key decision makers across the Asian region will have an opportunity to evaluate investment decisions in machinery, technology and cost-effective solutions, the organisers pointed out.

Messe Dusseldorf is one of world’s foremost organisers of highly specialised trade fairs. Some 360 exhibitors representing more than 30 countries from around the world will participate. There are 21 exhibitors from India, with a net area of 360 sq mts. A large number of visitors from Asian and Western world are also expected to participate.
