Patel Engg bags Rs 428-cr orders

Coimbatore, Oct 3

Patel Engineering Ltd has bagged an order worth Rs 428 crore for Tapovan Vishnugad Hydro Electric Project from the National Power Corporation Ltd in Uttaranchal (capacity of 520 MW). The project is to be completed in 48 months. The company is focusing on high margin hydro power projects. The company has pre-qualified for hydro power projects worth more than Rs 6,000 crore. The company has recently bagged its first order worth $153 million in Algeria in a joint venture. Shares of the firm closed at Rs 471.85, up 3.43 per cent on the BSE. - Our Bureau
