Techno-management fest

Kshitij 2008, Asia's largest techno-management festival, conducted annually by Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, will be held from January 31, to February 3. In an effort to create awareness about the event, a workshop on robotics and entrepreneurship was held here on September 30. Students of Class XI and XII of select schools and college students attended the workshop. The entrepreneurship part of the workshop saw students being familiarised with conceiving and executing a winning business plan. Key issues such as funding, marketing, finance, management were discussed. The robotics part of the workshop was conducted by the Robitix Society of IIT, Kharagpur. -Our Bureau
