Pressmart offers ‘pay-per use’ service

V. Rishi Kumar

Hyderabad, Oct. 4 Pressmart, on Thursday, announced the launch of “pay-per use” digital publishing software solution including an auto-archiving service for small and medium publishing (SMPs) industry in India.

According to a company statement, this model will allow SMPs to exploit Pressmart’s New Media Delivery service platform and Library Digitisation Technology solutions for their newspapers, magazines, journals and catalogues and build new revenue streams without any added investment. Pressmart offers a 360 degree service platform from conversion, hosting, subscription, advertising, user-behaviour reporting and delivery through multiple distribution channels that includes web, mobile, podcasts and built-in RSS feature. While many of the 160 publications printed in 19 languages from 28 countries leverage the pay-as-you-go model from Pressmart, the local and community papers benefit the most from the pay-per use model as they limit and control their costs to get maximum exposure through this monetisation-ready service.
