For better wool: An Arunachal Pradesh tribal holding a sheep near Sela at an altitude of 13,700 ft above the sea level, 450 km from Guwahati. The tribes in the State rear Tibetan sheep, which yield good carpet wool and medium apparel wool. The sheep in the region produce extremely coarse and hairy fleeces. There are about 30,000 sheep in the State. –
