IIM-Kozhikode’s management meet

Kochi Oct. 4 The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, is organising its annual management conclave, Horizons 2007, on October 5–7.

Centered on the over-arching theme “Bharat ek Khoj,” Horizons will focus on three sub-themes - Rediscovering rural India, Unleashing India Inc and Unlocking the human potential.

Eminent personalities

Horizons is to feature eminent thinkers and policy makers and initiate dialogue on these subjects.

The conclave would also involve bright young minds from the country’s top business schools.

The speakers this year include Dr Santrupt Misra (Director, Aditya Birla Management Group), Mr Abheek Singhi (Director and Partner, BCG), Mr Saugata Gupta (CEO, Marico), Mr Satish Pradhan (Exec V-P - Group HR, Tata Sons) and Mr Harish Bijoor (Brand Expert and CEO, Harish Bijoor Consults) among others.

Thousands of management students have participated in the recently launched online quiz event, Chanakya.

The conclave also includes a case study competition which focuses on Singapore as a workplace destination.
