Standards & Benchmarks Standards for rubber import notified Aravindan Kottayam, Oct. 5 The Commerce Ministry has notified that for ensuring quality standards, the natural rubber imported into India will have to follow standards specified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS ), a statement issued by the Rubber board said. The different types of NR with BIS are Technically specified block NR IS: 4588: 1986; Ribbed smoked sheet rubber IS: 15361: 2003; Centrifuged latex IS: 5430: 1981; Double centrifuged latex IS: 11001: 1984 and Creamed latex IS: 13101: 1991.
