Health States - Kerala In twilight zone

Kerala’s health indicators show an alarming rise in the percentage of stunted, underweight children to 16 per cent from 11 per cent last year. Anaemia during pregnancy has gone up by 10 per cent and infant mortality rate in urban areas has gone up from 16 per cent last year to 18 per cent currently, according to the latest National Family Health Survey.
