Nalco strengthens board
Bhubaneswar, Oct 9
National Aluminium Company Ltd (Nalco) has
further strengthened its board with the induction of
Dr A. Sahay, Mr S.S. Sohoni and Mr K.S. Raju as
independent directors for a period of three years.
According to an official release issued here on Tuesday,
Dr Sahay is a Professor with Management Development
Institute, Gurgaon; , and Mr Sohoni, an IAS Officer of
1970 batch and a former Secretary to the President of
India, is a Senior Advisor in the Office of the President,
Govt. of Afghanistan. Mr Raju is a former Controller
General of Indian Bureau of Mines, according to the
release. With the appointment of the three Independent
Directors, the number of directors in the Nalco board has
increased to 10. - Our Bureau
