SMExpressions meet to be held in Tirunelveli

Madurai, Oct.10 Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Madurai Zone is organising an one-day conference ‘SMExpressions 2007’, as part of its efforts to promote the dynamic industrial transformation in tier II and III cities, at Tirunelveli on Thursday, October 11.

The meet to be held at Manonmaiam Sundaranar University, with the bottom line ‘ICT for SME Competitiveness’ is aimed at understanding the global opportunities available to SMEs and the importance of Information Communication Technology (ICT) industries in the region.

Speakers from the ICT industry like Tata Consultancy Services, Satyam Computers, Flextronics etc. are expected to participate.

Mr C.Uma Shankar, Managing Director, ELCOT will inaugurate the conference and Dr C.Chandramouli, Secretary, Department of IT, Tamil Nadu will address the inaugural session.
