Veteran Pithora tribal painter Mansingh Dhanji Bhai of Malaj village in Chota Udaipur of Vadodara is in Hyderabad to promote the dying art form, as part of the ongoing ’Adivasi Mela’ of Gujarat . He says that the former President Mr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was so impressed with his art that he took him along to London during his presidency.
