Bangalore, Oct. 12 Himatsingka Seide has commissioned its new bed linen manufacturing facility at the Hassan SEZ, with effect from Friday.

The integrated plant with weaving, processing and making-up facilities has an annual installed capacity of 20 million meters. This corresponds to 9,000 sheet sets a day. Against an estimated project outlay of Rs 400 crore, the total investment stands at around Rs 450 crore, said a company press release.

Though the processing and making-up facilities have been commissioned with their full capacities in place, the weaving capacities will be commissioned in two phases.
