RBI announces T-Bills auction

Mumbai, Oct. 12

The Reserve Bank of India has announced the auction of 91-day and 182-day Government of India Treasury Bills for a notified amount of Rs 6,000 crore, of which Rs 5,000 crore is the Market Stabilisation Scheme (MSS) amount, said a press release from the RBI. The auction will be conducted on October 17 using ‘Multiple Price Auction’ method. Allocation to non-competitive bidders will be outside the notified amount, at the discretion of the RBI. —
