T he Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC) is to host the annual general meeting of the International Union of Credit and Investment Insurers, known as the Berne Union, at New Delhi from October 14-20. The Berne Union, having its headquarters at London, is an association of 52 organisations from 41 countries that are engaged in insuring export credit transactions and/or foreign investments. ECGC, which was founded in 1957 and celebrating its Golden jubilee year, is a member of Berne Union. About 200 delegates are expected to participate at the Berne Union’s AGM at New Delhi. — Our Bureau
