Events Agri-Biz & Commodities - Climate & Weather Pawar for study on link between climate change, agriculture
The Minister for Agriculture, Mr Sharad Pawar, and the Agriculture Secretary, Dr P.K. Mishra, at a conference in the Capital on Saturday. — Our Bureau New Delhi, Oct 13 The Minister for Agriculture, Mr Sharad Pawar, has asked the scientists to explore whether climate change would benefit the country’s agriculture in the future. Addressing the concluding session of the two-day national conference on ‘Climate change and Indian agriculture’ the Minister also the officials to come up with an appropriate action plan to prepare for for climate change. The Minister added that the conference recommendations would be sent to the Prime Minister’s Council as well as the Planning Commission for further discussion and action.
