With reference to the article “Nuke deal has come at the most opportune time” (Business Line, October 12) is silent on many issues. There is no mention of the untapped potential of wind energy, hydel energy, solar energy etc. Why do we not have a master plan on these sources which can be tapped with our own knowhow. Energy can also be produced from sea waves.

Such sources are cheaper than nuclear power. Any nuclear leakage from a reactor can cause harm to millions of people and we cannot afford such a disaster.
