The nuke deal

The Prime Minister and the Chairman of the UPA have made it clear that the 123 nuclear agreement will go through the further stages, come what may.

However, other initiatives such as progressive labour laws and selling of loss-making public sector units are likely to be put on the back-burner.

India’s march towards progress will be put back by several years.

A mid-term poll will perhaps help the Congress, but will it bite the bullet?
