Sify roadshows to promote ‘Contact Centre Solution’

L.N. Revathy

Coimbatore, Oct. 15 Two months after the introduction of its ‘Contact Centre Solution’ in India, Sify is now gearing up to create awareness by organising roadshows. The first roadshow has been proposed at Pune on October 17 followed by one at Delhi a week later.

“Frost and Sullivan will make a presentation to highlight the advantages of such a solution. It will also touch upon some key points to help the customer choose the right platform,” Sify’s Senior Vice-President (Voice Business), Mr Sushil Luniya, told Business Line.

The Indian contact centre industry, according to Mr Luniya is undergoing significant technological, economic and social changes. “The market is still nascent. While larger corporates see huge potential in setting up a contact centre to support their marketing initiatives, the small and medium scale business units can opt for the hosted contact centre solution.”

The hosted model, he said is gaining popularity because of its strong value proposition and low cost of ownership. “In a hosted model, the SMBs would be able to eliminate the investment risk, not bother about the rising cost of technology or technology obsolescence, forget the complexity of managing the service and pay just the usage-based fee.”
