‘India scores high on both growth prognosis, and trajectory’

Ms Kalpana Morparia

Our Bureau

Mumbai, Oct. 15 “The fundamentals of the Indian corporate do not give a reason as to why there should not be such a high rise in the equity market. Only a few economies have such a high growth trajectory and India scores very high on both the growth prognosis and trajectory. ICICI Bank has been a lead player across all the financial sectors be it banking, insurance and asset management and we have exhibited phenomenal growth in the last few years. We have also identified emerging growth opportunities ahead of times and acted on them,” said Ms Kalpana Morparia, Chief Strategist and Communications Officer, ICICI Bank

“Personally, in the present scenario technology stocks are not playing out for some reason. I believe there is still going to be a tremendous amount of growth in the technology sector.

Mr S. Mahalingam

"The concern that rupee appreciation is a dampener is not an issue, as we have proved in this quarter.” “Personally I subscribe to the growth in the Indian stock markets. This is because India is a happening story and there isa phenomenal amount of interest from different quarters.” Mr S. Mahalingam, Chief Financial Officer, TCS
