Our Bureau

Mumbai, Oct. 16 Eros International Plc has floated a new subsidiary company — EyeQube Studios Pvt Ltd, to make a foray into creating visual effects.

Mr Charles Darby, one of the pioneers of digital matte paintings, has been appointed as the creative director of the company.

EyeQube Studios would be started with an initial investment of $5-7 million.

It would give a platform to Indian filmmakers and an opportunity to artists to explore their creativity.

It will handle the visual effects for all of Eros International’s home productions and co-productions and has already bagged forthcoming Bollywood films such as Drona and Aladin.
