HMSHost wins GMR F&B contract

Hyderabad, Oct. 16

GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL) has awarded the contract for setting up food and beverage outlets at the upcoming airport at Shamshabad near here. HMSHost, a subsidiary of Autogrill S.p.A of Italy, that operates in 100 airport locations in the country, would set up outlets in about 670 sq metres of space.

The company has promised to give a local touch by offering Hyderabadi biryani, besides global brands such as Pizza Hut, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and KFC. It also would have a Bollywood themed restaurant and bar.

According to Mr Elie Maalouf, President and Chief Executive Officer, of HMSHost Corporation, the outlets would come up at departure levels as well as at the bus gates.- Our Bureau
