New Products & Services States - Tamil Nadu Titan launches ‘heritage’ wrist watches Our Bureau Coimbatore, Oct.17 Titan Industries has come out with ‘heritage’ collection designer wrist watches for this festival season. Introducing in nine distinct styles reflecting the country’s ancient and medieval temple/palace architecture, these watches have been designed by award-winning designer Abhijit Bansod. Among the stunning designs are the recreation of the cosmic pillars of medieval temple structure ‘Stambha’, the chariot wheel of the ‘Konark’ Sun temple, the royal ‘Lakshmi Vilas Palace’, imprints of the Mughal-Rajput fusion architecture ‘Jharokha’ and the Mughal architecture splendors of the ‘Taj’. The other Bansod inspired collections are the reflections of ‘Jantar Mantar’, carvings of ‘Kurukshetra’, the Hindu temple building block of ‘Mandala’ and the monolithic ‘Ajanta’ cave Launching the designer watches, the Regional Sales Manager (South), Titan Industries, Mr Vijesh Rajan, said the heritage collection is targeted at the new generation Indian consumer who is aware of the global trends and proud of his/her cultural identity.
