Sybase opens professional services centre

Pune, Oct. 18 Sybase Inc, provider of enterprise infrastructure and mobile software, has inaugurated the Global Sybase Professional Services (SPS) centre in Pune.

Mr Tony Morrison, Vice-President, Sybase Professional Services, told presspersons that with an aim to increase its focus on the Indian market, it would provide services from out-tasking to outsourcing and would offer onsite and offshore managed IT services. SPS has a 52-member team and would be increasing it to 100 by the third quarter of the next fiscal. Mr Tony noted that SPS has four elements – premium staffing, managed services (remote management of customer software environment and develop, maintain or enhance customers application), solutions and education.
