Bombay Rayons buys LNJ Apparels

Mumbai, Oct. 19 Bombay Rayon Fashions Ltd acquired LNJ Apparels, a unit of Rajasthan Spinning & Weaving Mills Ltd, for a sum of Rs 25.50 crore. LNJ Apparel is engaged in the business of manufacturing and exports of garments and has its manufacturing facility at Bidadi, Karnataka.

Recently, Bombay Rayon also acquired the garment business of Leela Scottish Lace, a unit of hospitality major Leela Group for around Rs 155 crore. The acquisition through a subsidiary is expected to boost consolidated revenues substantially, said a company release. Bombay Rayon is a manufacturer and 100 per cent exporter of designer woven fabrics and garments, with production facilities at Navi Mumbai, Silvassa, Sonale and Bangalore.
