Strategy Power House Sports to expand New Delhi, Oct 21 Gymnasium chain Power House Sports is aiming for nation wide presence by opening 100 centres in the next five years. The fitness firm is seeing huge interest for health among people and its membership has grown several-fold in the last one year. “Fitness is on top of the agenda of everyone and we want to offer the opportunity to people across the country to keep fit,” said Mr R.K. Dhingra of Power House Sports. The company owns some of the centres while others would be of franchisees. It plans to open gymnasiums in Mumbai, Pune, Indore, Ahmedabad and Bangalore in the immediate future. The company operates a chain of six gymnasiums in the New Delhi-NCR region. The company also plans to open stores for the sale of fitness machines and equipments in the same cities where it is putting up its gymnasiums.
