Rolta Q2 net up at Rs 53.8 cr

Mumbai, Oct. 22 Geospatial information systems developer Rolta India Ltd has recorded a 44.2 per cent rise in consolidated net profit for the first quarter ended September 30 to Rs 53.82 crore as against Rs 37.32 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago. Net revenues for the quarter grew by 43 per cent to Rs 221 crore (Rs 154.6 crore).

The company's board of directors has recommended a bonus issue of one equity share for every one equity share held. The Rolta scrip was down by 1.74 per cent on the BSE today.
