Patent for 3 Suven products

Hyderabad, Oct. 23

Suven Life Sciences Ltd has secured three Indian product patents for its New Chemical Entities (NCEs) for the treatment of disorders associated with neuro degenerative diseases. According to a release, the patents (208688, 208714 and 209540) would be valid till 2022. The granted claims of the patents include the class of selective 5-HT compounds discovered by Suven. They are being developed as therapeutic agents and are useful in the treatment of cognitive impairment assoc iated with neuro-degenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s, attention deficient hyperactivity, Huntington’s, Parkinson’s and Schizophrenia.
