Gokulam Chits branch in Vizag

Visakhapatnam, Oct. 24

Gokulam Chit and Finance Co (Pvt) Ltd opened its fifth branch in Andhra Pradesh, and 185th in the country, here on Wednesday. At a press meet held on the occasion, Mr G. Baiju, Executive Director, said Gokulam, set up in 1968, was having a turnover of Rs 2,500 crore and security deposit of over Rs 250 crore. He said the company was also having hotels in Kerala and Tamil Nadu besides medical colleges. “We are constructing a three-star hotel at Guruvayur near the famous Sri Krishna temple,” he said. The sixth branch in Andhra Pradesh will be opened at Guntur next month. “We are the leading chit and finance company in Kerala and we want to expand our network in AP as well,” he added. – Our Bureau
