Idea expands network in AP

Hyderabad, Oct. 25

Idea Cellular Limited, which commenced operations in April with 600 towns, has added 2.5 million subscribers in six months in Andhra Pradesh wherein it expanded coverage to over 1100 towns and 12500 villages. Mr. Subbaraman Iyer, Chief Operating Officer and Circle Head, Andhra Pradesh, in a statement said "we are continuing with our expansion plans across the State introducing a varied range of services." - Our Bureau
