OCM, Burlington WorldWide tie up

New Delhi, Oct. 26

OCM India Ltd, the Amritsar-based manufacturer of worsted wool fabrics, has entered into a marketing and commercial partnership with Burlington WorldWide (BWW), a division of International Textile Group, Inc. (ITG). Both ITG and OCM are majority-owned by New York-based WL Ross & Co. LLC. Under the agreement, BWW — a leader in worsted wool products in the North American market — would provide technical and manufacturing support to OCM in the development of a dvanced manufacturing processes and operations and the development of new wool fabrics, with opportunities to promote and use fabric technologies developed by BWW, a company release said.
