Strategy Industry & Economy - Radio/TV States - Andhra Pradesh Hollywood bonanza from HBO Our Bureau Hyderabad, Oct. 26 As Home Box Office (HBO) celebrates its seventh year in India, it has unveiled plans to offer over 100 Hollywood movies, including some blockbusters during the festive season till December end. The Country Manager of HBO South Asia, Ms Shruti Bajpai, said “virtually every day we expect to bring in one new Hollywood movie, providing the discerning viewer with what he likes. The biggest blockbuster Mission Impossible 3 will be telecast on November 7 at 9 pm.” Addressing a press conference here today, Ms Bajpai said, “Viewer feedback showed that Hyderabad and Bangalore have emerged as two of the most exciting markets for HBO in the South.” Citing HBO’s some of the popular movie fare such as Spiderman 2 and King Kong, Ms Bajpai said the festive season provide special themes, blockbusters and premiers.
