ECIL pays Rs 31-cr dividend

Hyderabad, Oct. 28 Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL) has paid Rs 31 crore as dividend to the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) for the year 2006-07. This is the highest dividend paid by the corporation that achieved a turnover of Rs 1,005 crore and Rs 128 crore profit after tax.

Mr K.S. Rajasekhara Rao, Chairman and Managing Director, ECIL, formally handed over a cheque to Mr Anil Kakodkar, Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission and Secretary, DAE, in Mumbai, according to a release.
