Civil Service exam postponed

New Delhi, Oct. 30

The Civil Services (Main) Examination 2007 scheduled for October 31 has been postponed, said the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in a statement. The Commission regretted the postponement, which it said was done "due to unforeseen eventualities beyond its control." All candidates appearing on October 31, 2007, for the subjects Public Administration, Political Science and International Relations would be informed of a fresh date soon. - Our Bureau
