RBI gets new executive directors

New Delhi, Oct. 30

The Reserve Bank of India has two new executive directors Mr G. Gopalakrishna and Mr H.R. Khan. Their appointment has come into effect from October 26. Mr Gopalakrishna, who is hitherto the Chief General Manager in RBI, has been given charge of department of non-banking supervision, foreign exchange department, department of expenditure and budgetary control, premises department and customer service department.

Mr Khan has the charge of department of external investments and operations, internal debt management department, and department of government and bank accounts. He is currently Chief General Manager, holding the charge of Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, New Delhi. - Our Bureau
