Shipping Marketing - New Products & Services TS Lines plans new China, India service Our Bureau Kolkata, Oct. 30 TS Lines, a major operator in the intra-Asia trade providing regular weekly sailings among countries such as Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam, has added to its services to and from the Indian subcontinent and has accordingly joined hands with Evergreen, Yang Ming, STX Pan Ocean and Samudera Shipping to launch a new China-India service, CSI (China Straits India) service. Port of rotationThe port rotation on 35-day voyage will be: Shanghai–Ningbo–Hong Kong–Singapore-Nhava Sheva–Colombo– Singapore–Pasir Gudang–Laem Chabang–Hong Kong–Shanghai. The first vessel left Shanghai on October 15, according to shipping industry sources. The five shipping companies participating in the service will deploy one vessel each of the capacity of 1,600 TEUs. New serviceBy launching this new service, TS Lines will be providing three services to the Indian subcontinent including its present KSI (Korea Straits India) and HGX (Hyper Galex) services.
