Bangalore, Oct. 31 The best kept secret of India is partnership, how to make a win-win situation, said Mr John Chambers, Chairman and CEO of Cisco, on his last day in the country.

He announced a global alliance with Wipro for joint development and delivery of IT solutions. A centre has been established at Wipro’s campus in the city, to be functional in November. The Cisco Solution Centre will develop and showcase new services and solutions that will incorporate intelligent networking technology and services for India, West Asia and Africa. Application networking services, data centre, security, telepresence and unified communications from the company and Wipro’s re-engineering expertise will develop solutions for healthcare, financial services, retail, real estate and transportation sectors.

The company also initiated I-Prize, a contest on innovation that will be open to entrepreneurs and innovators around the world. The winner will be offered the opportunity of joining the firm as a founder of a new emerging technology business unit and will receive a funding of $10 million over three years. The submission should have the potential to rake in at least a billion dollars over five to seven years.
