Software Corporate - Awards & Honours Info-Tech - Industry Associations Corbus tops Nasscom’s ‘exciting’ companies list
The analysis revealed distinguishing factors on parameters like training & development, career management, constant and effective communication, etc. Our Bureau New Delhi, Oct. 31 Corbus (India) has topped Nasscom’s list of ‘exciting emerging companies to work for’ in the Indian IT/ITES industry, with RMSI Pvt Ltd and Hytech Professionals India placed second and third in the pecking order, respectively. The survey, which identifies the ‘Top 15 exciting emerging companies’ throws light on best practices, which at times may seem “not that necessary” for a small sized company but are vital for the future growth of the company. “Using practices ranging across a wide range of innovative parameters such as Balanced Score Card approach for performance appraisal to designing of Performance Grade Cards, companies are looking at constantly adding to best practices which make them more attractive for employees, often enhancing productivity simultaneously,” a Nasscom release said here. The ranking puts Nagarro Software, VCustomer Services India and e4e Business Solutions India in the fourth, fifth and sixth position, respectively. While Synygy India ranked seventh on the list, Ajuba Solutions (India), Mindlogicx Infotech, and Nucleus Software Exports have ended up in eighth, ninth and tenth position, respectively. The survey aims to identify the best small and medium sized IT-BPO companies to work for, with annual turnover of up to Rs 250 crore. The analysis of the top 15 companies revealed distinguishing factors on parameters such as training & development, career management, constant and effective communication, documentation, climate surveys, benchmarking and recreational activities. Commenting on the survey, Mr Kiran Karnik, President of Nasscom, said: “The Indian IT industry has set an exceptionally high standard with regard to workplace and employee practices. While there are benchmarks that exist across industries, we felt that for the emerging companies segment, it is critical to identify and appreciate the frontrunners, who are employers of choice, and aptly showcase them.” More Stories on : Software | Awards & Honours | Industry Associations
