Almost 35 per cent of small scale industries are paying penalty to the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board. By installing proper capacitors for the machineries, the penalty can be eliminated and incentives obtained from the board, according to Mr P.T. Krishnamoorthy, President, Madurai District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (Maditssia). He was delivering

the inaugural address at an awareness programme.
