Royal Orchid Hotels net up 11%

Bangalore, Nov. 1 Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd (ROHL), promoted by Mr Chander Baljee, has on a stand-alone basis posted a 11.27-per-cent rise in net profit at Rs 7.43 crore for the quarter ended September 30, as compared to Rs 6.68 crore in the corresponding last quarter. Total income rose by 4.89 per cent to Rs 21.65 crore as compared to Rs 20.64 crore during the same period last year.

The consolidated results reflect a PAT of Rs 7.49 crore, a 5.93 per cent rise from Rs 7.07crore from the corresponding last year. Total income also rose by 9.11 per cent at Rs 31.46 crore from Rs 28.83 crore. Earnings per share (EPS) on basic and a diluted basis stand at Rs 2.75 against Rs 2.60 for the last financial year.
