P&G Hygiene net up 35%

Mumbai, Nov. 1 Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd has reported a 35 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 34.5 crore (Rs 25.6 crore) in the first quarter ending September 30. The FMCG company recorded a 16 per cent increase in sales at Rs 155.1 crore (Rs 133.9 crore).The sales of the healthcare category at Rs 80.2 crore were up by 15 per cent, while the feminine hygiene products at Rs 75 crore grew by 17 per cent.
